    That’s the funny thing: when you look at the details of the app and compare them to other iPad apps, it isn’t that cool anymore. I use the DISH Remote Access app which lets me stream any live channel I subscribe to, as well as many on demand movies. I can even stream recordings that I have on my 922 SlingLoaded DVR to my iPad. What is better is that I can do all this while I’m away from home. Unlike most apps that require you to be on your home network, with DISH’s TV Everywhere technology I can stream anywhere I am, whether it is at DISH where I work or on the light rail on my way to school. If there is one way to look at the U-Verse app, it can be used as a $500 remote control for your channels.
