It’s nice having the ability to control your DVR using your iPad, but when the functionality ends there, you see it isn’t a very good TV app. The U-Verse app doesn’t allow you to stream, and I’m sure that even if you could stream, you wouldn’t be able to stream outside of your home anyways. I have the DISH Remote Access app on my iPad and Like the U-Verse app, I can control my DVR with my iPad. It goes further by allowing me to watch any live channel that I subscribe to on my iPad, as well as watch anything that I have recorded to my 922 SlingLoaded DVR. The best part about the DISH Remote Access app is its ability to stream outside of my home. Whether I am on my way to DISH where I work or waiting in the library for class to start, I can watch my TV when and where I want. AT&T is very far behind, and I hope they give their customers this ability soon. They don’t know what they’re missing out on!
